At the grass root level where the sales force field agent is on the move for a sale or to collect the installment, the situation can be summarized as the following.

  • Operations field agent physically carries all the customer details. The staff issues invoice receipts, creates order copies, collects the installments, and raises cash receipts.
  • A copy of the receipt is given to the customer and another copy is carried back to the office.
  • Cash collection through cash and cheque transactions.

High Level Solution

POS terminals to be provided to the field staff. On providing the unique authentication information in the POS terminal, customer details including route map will be downloaded into the terminal from the central server connected via GSM/GPRS/CDMA network.

  • Agent generates invoice based on the requested goods that is uploaded to the central server.
  • Agent accepts the installment from the customer and updates the cash/cheque details to the SFA software in the central serve using the handheld terminal.
  • A receipt generated by the terminal is provided to the customer.
  • Based on the customer orders, the order transaction information is instantly updated to the central server.
